Job summary

SAIC in Chantilly, VA is seeking an AI/ML SETA Systems Engineer to provide technical advisory services for the NRO GED. The role focuses on AI/ML-enabled software services across the end-to-end life cycle.

The candidate must hold an active TS/SCI with Polygraph. You will work with government managers and a multi-disciplinary team to enhance automation, data explainability, and mission-focused tool integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 5+ years related experience or higher.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• 5 years of SharePoint development and workflow automation.
• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, React, and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with Power Automate, Power BI, and PowerShell scripting.
• Experience with Git-based version control and DevSecOps.
• Strong engineering background with ML knowledge.
• Experience with ontologies, training data, model eval/validation, and responsible AI.
• Agile/SAFe and cloud architectures with agile metrics experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide data collection and analysis for AI/ML explainability.
• Support government ML analytics programs and scale AI/ML models.
• Provide software architecture and oversee development contractors.
• Assess technical debt and optimize cloud-based designs.
• Develop roadmaps and documentation for AI tool portfolio and strategies.
• Facilitate interchanges and advise customer to enable innovative capabilities.
• Collaborate with GED SETA staff to lead modern processing applications.
