Job summary

Vanguard Integration Group, LLC is seeking an experienced AI System Engineer for a long-running SETA contract supporting an IC customer in Chantilly, VA. The role requires active TS/SCI with Poly clearance and strong AI/ML background.

You will provide technical and programmatic SETA support, oversee AI/ML development, and collaborate with a multi-contractor team to deliver innovative solutions aligned with mission goals.

Qualifications

• Advanced understanding of AI/ML capabilities and model types.
• Understands data preparation, feature generation, training, validation, and production deployment.

Responsibilities

• Provide SETA support to IC customer across acquisition phases.
• Brief government and industry on program status with clear communications.
• Assess program readiness and identify gaps between requirements and capabilities.
• Collaborate with multi-contractor teams for AI/ML solution ideation and execution.
• Advise on AI/ML approaches, tradeoffs, and potential designs.
• Support maturation of AI/ML algorithms toward system baseline.
• Verify models in development and validate models in operation.
• Ensure SE&I in systems integration and closure of R&D systems.
• Monitor schedules, dependencies, risks, and opportunities for customers.
• Lead technical meetings and capture decisions for agile development.
