Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, applied mathematics, data science, systems engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Familiarity with Python, C/C++, Rust, MATLAB, or Julia.
• Interest in hands-on development, laboratory work, debugging, measurement, testing, and iterative prototyping.
• 8+ years for senior levels or advanced degrees; equivalent combinations of education and experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Envision and define AI/ML-enabled sensor-system solutions.
• Translate needs into traceable system requirements, interfaces, architectures, specifications, and verification plans.
• Develop software, algorithms, models, and tools for sensor control, data acquisition, calibration, processing, fusion, visualization, analytics, and system-health monitoring.
• Design experiments; oversee integration, testing, and verification.
• Lead architecture, requirements, and verification planning for senior roles.
• Prepare technical documentation and communicate with customers.
