Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Security Engineer II to join our Cybersecurity and Technology Controls team. You will execute standard security solutions, integrate AI-enabled analysis, and contribute to secure software delivery across the SDLC.

As an emerging member of the security engineering team, you will write secure code, validate AI recommendations, and help strengthen threat detection and resilience for internal platforms and applications.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on security engineering concepts.
• 2+ years of applied security engineering experience.
• Experience developing security engineering solutions.
• Ability to review and validate AI-assisted code and security recommendations.
• Experience with SDLC, CI/CD, and security.
• Knowledge of information and network security and IT risk management.

Responsibilities

• Executes standard security solutions per playbooks for internal clients.
• Uses enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to accelerate vulnerability analysis and documentation.
• Writes secure and high-quality code in at least one programming language.
• Applies tools to analyze incident data to identify threats and vulnerabilities.
• Supports continuity-related awareness, training and exercises.
• Applies AI-assisted practices to strengthen security testing, traceability, and auditability.
