At the Mission Payloads Division (MPD), we are pioneers in remote sensing systems that guide our country’s space enterprise. Our talented and dynamic team creates and advances electronics, sensors, radar, artificial intelligence (AI), and advanced data networks. We innovate through research, development, demonstration, and integration, delivering groundbreaking results. The Machine Intelligence and Exploitation Department (MIXD), within MPD, is located in Chantilly, VA, and Colorado Springs, CO. We specialize in applying AI/ML to extract and enhance the value of our customers’ data, including data fusion, computer vision, pattern recognition, and anomaly detection on large datasets for automation, discovery, and predictive modeling.
We are seeking AI/ML practitioners with strong backgrounds in remotely sensed data to grow our team of highly skilled specialists. Join us to be part of a culture of innovation, growth, technical excellence, and meaningful contributions to national capabilities.
This is an onsite role, requiring at least 4 days/week onsite in Chantilly, VA or Colorado Springs, CO.
Additional points that would stand out include an advanced degree, proven AI/ML application experience, active security clearance, and experience with signal/image processing.
