Job summary

Assured Consulting Solutions in Reston, VA (hybrid with DC area) seeks an experienced AI/ML Engineer to develop, train, and deploy in-house language models for mission-critical tasks across multi-media data. You will build, fine-tune pipelines and robust MLOps workflows to production.

You will collaborate with data engineers and senior software engineers to deliver secure, scalable AI solutions, ensure compliance with clearance requirements, and translate operational needs into practical AI

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related STEM field, or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience in ML engineering and model deployment to production.
• Strong Python skills for model development, training, and inference.

Responsibilities

• Develop and automate fine-tuning and model training pipelines.
• Create AI/ML and LLM-enabled solutions for mission needs.
• Design, implement, and optimize ML models for new use cases.
• Conduct research on novel modeling approaches and techniques.
• Work with mission leads to translate needs into AI designs and plans.
• Build and maintain MLOps and deployment pipelines for experiment tracking.
• Define and track model performance metrics and drive improvements.
• Integrate AI/ML model services into application workflows via APIs.
• Collaborate with Data Integration Engineers and Senior Software Engineers.
• Implement guardrails, monitoring, and fallback strategies for reliability.
• Document model designs, training methodologies, and evaluation results.
