Job summary

Prolific is seeking AI & Machine Learning Engineers to join its Expert Network to train and evaluate next-generation LLMs with deep technical expertise. You will complete a short test and, if successful, join Prolific as a participant to be paid for tasks.

Role requires building, deploying, or fine-tuning ML models in production and a strong ML foundation in Transformers, RLHF, and RAG workflows. You will work remotely on paid tasks that may require one hour, with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Education: advanced degree in CS/AI/related fields with ML focus.
• Experience: building, deploying, or fine-tuning ML models in production.
• Deep Learning mastery: transformers, CNNs, RNNs, optimization techniques.
• LLM specialization: Prompt Engineering, RLHF, or RAG workflows.
• Technical rigor: auditing model logic and training data quality.
• Analytical critique: spotting hallucinations and biases in AI outputs.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated explanations of architectures, losses, and backpropagation for accuracy.
• Audit ML code and notebooks for efficiency and correctness.
• Refine RLHF frameworks with high-quality human feedback.
• Assess model reasoning in chain-of-thought prompts.
• Benchmark performance across model outputs using technical metrics.
