Job summary

Novacis Digital is seeking a hands-on AI/ML Engineering Intern to support the design and development of enterprise AI products using ML, LLMs, RAG, and modern software practices. You will write clean, testable Python and move from experimentation to working prototypes.

You will prototype AI features, build LLM-based applications, and assist with data preparation and evaluation in a hybrid team setting. Flexible work-from-home options are available.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS/MS in CS/AI/DS or related field with strong academics.
• Strong Python programming and AI/ML fundamentals.
• Experience with LLMs, embeddings, and RAG concepts.
• Hands-on project experience with AI/LLM apps.
• Familiarity with LangChain, Transformers, Hugging Face.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, Git, and software practices.
• Familiarity with ML libraries like PyTorch/TensorFlow and pandas/NumPy.
• Strong analytical and communication skills for hybrid teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and prototype AI/ML features using Python.
• Build LLM-based apps with OpenAI, Llama, or HuggingFace.
• Support RAG solutions with embeddings and vector databases.
• Create multi-step AI workflows with LangChain/LangGraph.
• Develop lightweight APIs with FastAPI/Flask.
• Evaluate models, test prompts, and analyze latency.
• Prepare data for AI experimentation and product use.
• Contribute docs and experiments using Git.
• Research emerging AI capabilities and turn ideas into prototypes.
