Job summary

Torch.AI, headquartered in Leawood, KS, is building a government-owned reasoning infrastructure. We are seeking candidates in the McLean, VA area (Arlington/Washington DC region) to design and implement end-to-end ML workflows and production-ready AI services that scale for semantic search, classification, entity resolution, and retrieval.

Ideal candidates have 3–6 years of ML/NLP experience, strong Python, and familiarity with Transformers, PyTorch, spaCy, and cloud/container deployment.

Qualifications

• B.S./M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end ML workflows for semantic search and retrieval.
• - Build production-ready AI services with reliability and maintainability.
• - Develop embedding pipelines and retrieval-augmented generation components.
• - Collaborate with data engineering and backend teams to scale ML capabilities.
• - Support deployment, monitoring, and versioning within the MLOps lifecycle.
• - Participate in architecture discussions aligned to platform needs.
