Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking an AI/ML Engineer to partner with product managers, software engineers, data engineers, and business stakeholders. You will design and deliver enterprise-scale Generative AI solutions, including LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, and automation workflows.

The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering fundamentals with modern AI tech and cloud-native development, building production-grade ML systems and integrating AI capabilities into enterprise platforms.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of experience in Software/Machine Learning/AI Engineering or related fields.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, AI or related discipline; equivalent experience considered.
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience developing production‑grade applications.
• Experience building REST APIs using frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or similar technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver enterprise-scale Generative AI solutions.
• Hands-on development of AI-powered applications including LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, and intelligent automation workflows.
• Transform business problems into scalable AI solutions and ensure secure, reliable production systems.
• Work across full lifecycle from experimentation to deployment, monitoring and optimization.
