Cardinal Health seeks an AI/ML Engineer to partner with product managers, software engineers, and data engineers to design and deliver enterprise‑scale Generative AI solutions. You will build LLM‑driven applications, RAG, AI Agents and automation workflows in production environments.

The role combines strong software engineering with modern AI tech, enabling scalable, secure, and measurable AI capabilities across the enterprise.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
4–8 years in Software/Ml/AI engineering or similar roles.
Strong Python proficiency and production‑grade application development.
Experience building REST APIs with FastAPI, Flask, or similar.
Experience with Agile/Scrum and SDLC frameworks.
Familiarity with GitHub Actions, GitLab, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Harness, etc.
Docker containerization experience.
Kubernetes in production environments (GKE/AKS/EKS).
Experience with cloud platforms like GCP, Azure, or AWS.
Experience designing Generative AI solutions using LLMs.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver enterprise‑scale Generative AI solutions.
Build production‑grade ML systems and AI capabilities into enterprise platforms.
Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and data engineers to translate business problems into scalable AI products.
Own end-to-end lifecycle from prototyping to deployment, monitoring and optimization.
