Job summary

Cardinal Health seeks an AI/ML Engineer to partner with product managers and engineers in designing enterprise-scale AI solutions. You will develop AI-powered applications, including LLMs, RAG, and intelligent automation workflows, across the full lifecycle from prototyping to deployment.

The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering fundamentals with cloud-native development and a focus on secure, measurable AI systems.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing Generative AI solutions using Large Language Models (OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, Llama, Mistral, or similar).
• Strong understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and vector databases.
• Experience building AI agents and multi-agent workflows using LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, SemanticKernel, or equivalents.
• Experience integrating AI services through APIs and enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver enterprise-scale Generative AI solutions with product managers and engineers.
• Hands-on development of AI-powered applications including LLMs, RAG, AI Agents and automation workflows.
• Build production-grade ML systems and integrate AI capabilities into enterprise platforms.
• Ensure solutions are secure, reliable, and measurable across the lifecycle.
