Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced AI/ML Engineer to design and deploy discriminative and generative AI/ML models supporting analytic missions. You will collaborate with product owners and SMEs to optimize models and develop interfaces for exchanging AI/ML information.

The role requires strong programming skills (Java, Python, C++, SQL) and experience with AWS/Azure. A Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or similar.
• 7+ years of AI/ML engineering experience.
• Ability to analyze problems with a flexible and creative approach, manage complex tasks and adapt to rapidly changing requirements.
• Familiarity with AI/ML-based systems and understanding model values and data-driven analysis.
• Knowledge/familiarity with AI/ML algorithms including Linear Regression, Decision Trees, Random Forests, Neural networks, and Dijkstra's.
• Ability to learn new technologies rapidly and implement in a dynamic environment.
• Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and customer-facing skills.
• Experience with one or more of: Java, Python, C++, SQL.
• Experience with one or more of: AWS, Azure, Git.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility

Responsibilities

• Develop discriminative and generative AI/ML models to support the analytic mission.
• Collaborate with the product owner, functional SMEs, and product owners to align with team objectives while creating optimized AI/ML models.
• Create AI/ML model utilization, availability, access, and data utilization, availability, and access.
• Design, develop, and implement AI/ML models using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Develop user interfaces for exchanging AI/ML information through web applications.
• Develop web application interfaces for exchanging AI/ML model and provider metadata.
• Provide enablement support for AI/ML services.
• Develop an automated process for workforce access to LLM models.
• Collaborate within a highly technical agile team and contribute to workflows, tools, and documentation.
• Support iterative creation of AI/ML product models for the DoD
