Job summary

Keysight is seeking an EDA AI/ML Software Intern to contribute to intelligent design automation for RFIC and analog circuits. You'll collaborate with software engineers, AI researchers, and RFIC domain experts to prototype AI-driven schematic generation, layout automation, and design optimization workflows.

Responsibilities include prototyping AI/ML models in Python, developing software components (potentially in C++/Rust under mentorship), and supporting ML integration into Windows desktop

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Familiarity with at least one ML/DL framework (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Knowledge of core data structures, algorithms, and OO programming.
• Interest in systems programming and performance-aware development.
• Exposure to UI frameworks or visualization libraries (e.g., PySide6, Qt, matplotlib, React).
• Familiarity with AI for RFIC and analog circuit design, schematic generation, and layout automation.
• Exposure to PCells, layout parameterization, computational geometry, and surrogate modeling/optimization.

Responsibilities

• Assist prototyping and implementing AI/ML models for design automation workflows.
• Develop, test, and refine software components in Python (and possibly C++/Rust under mentorship).
• Support integration of ML algorithms into Windows desktop applications.
• Contribute to data preprocessing, model training, and evaluation pipelines.
• Collaborate in code reviews, debugging, and performance testing.
• Learn and apply software engineering best practices in a professional environment.
