Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Test Engineer (Level 2) to join a dynamic team supporting the SkyLine-X KN-2 program. You will design, implement, and maintain test frameworks and procedures for verification, validation, and qualification of advanced systems.

The role focuses on testing methodologies for ATC modernization initiatives and may involve travel. Familiarity with AI/ML approaches and CI/CD integration is a plus.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field; 2-4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and scripts (e.g., Squish, Selenium, PyTest, Robot Framework).
• Familiarity with integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for regression coverage.
• Team uses AI/ML to enhance test automation; familiarity with AI-assisted testing approaches is a plus.
• Experience in testing, test script development, and system-level verification of complex systems.
• Proficiency with scripting languages.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix, containerization (Docker, Podman), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent written/verbal skills to interpret and author documents.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain test frameworks for V&V of complex systems.
• Create system-level and component-level test procedures, cases, and data sets.
• Write and execute test cases, scenarios, and scripts using Squish, Selenium, PyTest, or Robot Framework.
• Troubleshoot tests and support defect resolution with software and systems teams.
• Execute integration testing of distributed systems in containerized/virtualized environments (Docker/Podman).
• Apply AI/ML-based tools to enhance test coverage and efficiency where applicable.
• Maintain verification matrices and traceability artifacts.
• Interface with SkyLine-X KN-2 software and lab teams for installation and integration.
