Job summary

Calance is seeking an AI DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage automated deployment pipelines for AI/ML and agentic AI applications. The role focuses on Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines across development, testing, staging, and production environments, with hybrid onsite work in Downtown Los Angeles or New York.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or related field.
• At least five years’ experience in DevOps, cloud or platform/infrastructure engineering.
• At least three years’ hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps.
• Experience deploying containerized AI/ML and data-intensive apps on Azure and on-premises environments.

Responsibilities

• Own the deployment lifecycle: build automation, testing, security validation, containerization, artifacts, release promotion, deployment verification, rollback.
• Develop and maintain Azure DevOps YAML pipelines and reusable components per firm practices.
• Collaborate with AI Software Engineers, ML Engineers, and other teams to align architecture and hosting requirements.
• Partner with infrastructure teams to define environment requirements and provisioning.
• Support deployments across Microsoft Azure and on-prem VMs/VDI environments.
• Protect sensitive, confidential and proprietary information.
