Job summary

Google is seeking a software engineer to design and deploy scalable ML models and data pipelines. You will collaborate with Product Managers, Data Scientists, and ML Engineers to translate requirements into practical, production-ready solutions at scale.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 2 years in software development or 1 year with an advanced degree, and 1 year in ML/infrastructure domains such as deployment and evaluation. This role requires in-person interviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
• 1 year of experience with one or more of: LLM systems, speech/audio, reinforcement learning, ML infrastructure, or specialization in another ML field.
• 1 year of experience with AI/ML infrastructure (model deployment, evaluation, optimization, data processing, debugging).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy robust ML models and infrastructure.
• Build, own and maintain scalable data pipelines and feature stores.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Data Scientists to translate requirements into solutions.
• Monitor and optimize production ML models for latency and cost-efficiency.
