Job summary

Excelacom in Reston, VA seeks a Consultant-level professional to lead data-driven analytics, ML model development, and AI agent workflows for telecom clients. You will deliver advisory services to senior management and transform business problems into actionable data solutions.

You will quantify business value, design AI agent orchestration, and map solutions to TM Forum-like frameworks while engaging with Directors and VPs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Machine learning or Data Science.
• 3+ years of experience developing ML solutions using Python, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, Pandas and experience integrating LLMs via APIs and building agentic AI workflows.
• Prior consulting experience with a leading strategy firm, consulting practice, or consulting technology firm.
• Experience with prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and LLM evaluation/observability techniques.
• Excellent writing, presentation and communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Specialize in data driven, advanced analytics approaches to solving client problems.
• Build reports to advanced machine learning models and AI agent workflows to drive client improvements.
• Deliver advisory services to Senior Management on AI/ML leveraging generative AI and agents.
• Build solutions from problem to data, models, and insights for clients.
• Quantify business value of ML projects and map AI solutions to industry frameworks.
• Prepare proposals and present to clients, coordinating with teams.
• Drive data research to identify opportunities for product roadmap.
