Job summary

Ericsson Inc. in Santa Clara is seeking a Data Scientist/AI Scientist to design and deploy transformer‑based models and advanced ML solutions for telecom networks.

You will tackle AI agentic systems, RAG approaches, time‑series forecasting, and production‑level deployments with cross‑functional teams. Applicants should have 5–7 years in ML/AI, a CS/data science/engineering background, and hands‑on experience with LLMs, Python, PyTorch, and NLP.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of hands‑on data science / ML engineer experience with end‑to‑end ML projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Data Science, Engineering or a related field is required (Master’s preferred).
• Strong knowledge of transformer models & NLP/LLMs; experience with open‑source LLMs and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI solution development using LLMs, context engineering, and agentic AI concepts.
• Build autonomous agents for network operations and real‑time fault handling.
• Develop time‑series models to forecast KPIs and detect anomalies in telecom data.
• Prototype and deploy ML solutions into Ericsson products for telco operators.
