Job summary

Skyworks Solutions, Inc. in Irvine seeks an AI/ML Co-Op to join our enterprise AI/ML engineering team. This hands-on, full-time co-op runs June/July–December 2027, for enrolled undergraduates or graduates applying real-world engineering problems.

You will design, build, and deploy ML solutions end-to-end, collaborating with engineers and business teams while gaining practical experience with PyTorch, Python, and production tooling in a corporate environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student in CS, DS, EE, ME, or IE.
• Available to relocate to Irvine for full-time hours June–Dec 2027.
• Experience with Python and PyTorch; understanding of AI algorithms.
• Proficient with VSCode; able to learn code assists quickly.

Responsibilities

• Support AI/ML initiatives across multiple business units.
• Lead small projects end-to-end under supervision.
• Gather and analyze data to identify AI/ML opportunities.
• Develop code for core use-case functionality with guidance.
• Document, report, and deliver project outcomes.
