Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English-speaking reviewers to evaluate AI-generated media. You will engage in live conversations with AI voice models, compare image and video outputs, and explain in writing what looked or sounded off.

This remote, flexible role lets you choose your schedule while contributing to improving AI systems. Responsibilities include assessing naturalness, usefulness, and fidelity, and providing concise, evidence-based explanations.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication and comfortable with everyday conversational speech.
• Strong attention to detail, with the patience to look and listen closely, and to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Nice to have: Pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree or above.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and talking through realistic situations in a natural, conversational way.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Comfortable making a clear decision when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models, then rating how natural, useful, and clear each sounded.
• Comparing AI-generated images and videos and judging which follows the prompt better.
• Inspecting outputs closely, including zooming and replaying, to spot issues like distorted anatomy, flickering, or audio-video mismatches.
• Rating outputs across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, then writing a detailed explanation in English.
