Job summary

Outlier invites detail-oriented contributors to review AI-generated media from the comfort of their own schedule. You will hold live conversations with AI voice models, compare image and video pairs, and explain what’s off in writing, remotely and on flexible hours.

Role focuses on evaluating naturalness, usefulness, and realism, ranking outputs, and providing concise justifications to help improve AI systems. Remote, with weekly payments and accessible tools.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with strong, clear written communication.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to replay or zoom in on content.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and discussing realistic scenarios in conversation.

Responsibilities

• Holding live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models and ranking naturalness, usefulness, and clarity.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging adherence to prompts.
• Inspecting outputs closely to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering, or mismatched audio/video.
• Writing a specific explanation in English that points to what you saw or heard, based on the evaluation.
