Job summary

Bane-Welker Equipment, LLC is seeking an AI Manager to lead the development, implementation, governance, and adoption of AI initiatives across the organization. You will collaborate with leadership, managers, and partners to identify opportunities to improve productivity, customer experience, and operations.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in tech leadership, experience with AI/ML and Microsoft Copilot, and a strong business impact mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, business process improvement, information technology, digital transformation, or related leadership roles.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and driving organizational change.
• Experience with Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, automation technologies, data analytics, or enterprise software solutions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the AI strategy and roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Identify and prioritize AI opportunities across departments to drive efficiency and value.
• Define AI use cases, success metrics, and implementation plans with stakeholders.
• Lead AI project planning, execution, and delivery with internal and external partners.
• Maintain an AI project portfolio balancing value, risk and resources.
• Establish governance including risk, privacy, security, and model oversight.

• Recommend improvements and report status to leadership.
• Promote responsible and ethical use of AI tech across the organization.

AI Manager

Bane-Welker Equipment is currently seeking an innovative and business-focused AI Manager to lead the development, implementation, governance, and adoption of Artificial Intelligence initiatives across the organization. This position will work closely with leadership, department managers, technology partners, and employees to identify opportunities where AI can improve productivity, customer experience, operational efficiency, and business performance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the company's AI strategy and roadmap aligned with business objectives and operational priorities.
• Identify, evaluate, and prioritize AI opportunities across departments to drive efficiency, automation, and business value.
• Partner with executive leadership and business stakeholders to define AI use cases, success metrics, and implementation plans.
• Lead AI project planning, execution, and delivery while coordinating internal resources and external technology partners.
• Develop and maintain an AI project portfolio that balances business value, risk, available resources, and organizational priorities.
• Establish and maintain AI governance processes including risk assessments, data privacy protections, security requirements, and model oversight.
• Ensure all AI initiatives comply with company policies, cybersecurity standards, and emerging regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate change management activities including user training, process redesign, testing, communications, and adoption programs.
• Monitor usage, performance, accuracy, and business outcomes of deployed AI solutions.
• Recommend continuous improvement opportunities and communicate project status, risks, and results to leadership.
• Promote responsible and ethical use of AI technologies throughout the organization.
• Stay informed on AI trends, technologies, and industry best practices to identify opportunities for competitive advantage.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, business process improvement, information technology, digital transformation, or related leadership roles.
