AI/Machine Learning Engineer for Remote for a 12-month Contract with possible extensions. Willingness to work with manager in PST time zone.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and deploy advanced AI solutions.
2. Work with Cloud Platforms like Vertex AI and leverage Python to enhance backend systems and integrate with Frontend Chat.
3. Enhance and integrate chat-based client systems.

Required Skills:

1. At least 3 years’ experience with LLM and NLP.
2. Hands-on experience with RAG workflows, including vector databases and semantic search.
3. Experience developing efficient and accurate RAG layers.
4. Experience integrating chat-based clients.
5. Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
6. Experience with cloud platforms, specifically GCP Vertex AI (e.g., Gemini 2.0) or Amazon Bedrock.
7. Experience with multimodal AI models (processing text, images, videos).
8. Strong Python programming skills for model development and data processing.
9. Familiarity with text embeddings, vector databases, and retrieval systems.
10. Experience with APIs for model deployment and integration (e.g., Vertex AI SDK, Bedrock APIs).
