Job summary

ByteDance Networking is seeking talented researchers and engineers to design and deploy high-speed network technologies supporting AI/LLM applications at massive scale. You will design and develop platforms for monitoring, analysis and diagnosis of large-scale AI networks, and collaborate across host, network and application layers to improve scalability, reliability and performance.

Successful candidates may be completing or recently completed a PhD and should be able to commit to onboarding by

Qualifications

• PhD or near completion in a technical field such as CS/CE.
• Strong proficiency in computer networks and network programming.
• Proficiency in one or more major programming languages (C/C++, Python, Go).
• Experience with high-speed network systems and AI network optimization is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, implementation and deployment of high-speed network technologies for AI/LLM workloads.
• Develop platforms for monitoring, analysis and diagnosis of large-scale AI networks.
• Research and develop AI communication frameworks, protocol stacks, and host-network-application co-design.
