Job summary

Dow Jones is seeking two AI-literate Financial Translators fluent in Spanish (Latin American) and English for a hybrid role in New York City. You will assess and improve English-to-Spanish autotranslation of financial news, build glossaries, and craft prompts to enhance accuracy and style.

Qualifications

• Native level Spanish (C2) with Latin American culture understanding.
• Experience in LQA and MTPE processes.
• Strong English proficiency and financial terminology knowledge.
• Experience with CAT tools for glossary creation and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Spot-check autotranslated output daily to ensure accuracy and style.
• Document and track translation quality metrics and trends.
• Build and maintain glossaries for consistency across translations.
• Design, test, and refine prompts to improve auto-translation quality.
• Collaborate with Product, Editorial, customers, and partners.
• Translate predefined templates and other translation-related tasks as needed.
