Job summary

Alignerr Corp. is seeking a French Language Expert to help evaluate and improve AI systems trained on French content. Your linguistic insight and teaching background will shape how AI understands, generates, and teaches French, making a real impact on one of the world\'s most studied languages.

This remote, hourly contract requires 15+ hours per week with fully asynchronous collaboration. You will evaluate AI-generated French speech and text, assess learner language across CEFR levels, and

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in French.
• Experience teaching French or evaluating learner language.
• Strong written communication in French and English (C1/C2).
• Solid understanding of CEFR frameworks and learner speech patterns.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated French speech and text for linguistic accuracy, naturalness, and educational quality.
• Assess learner speech and writing across proficiency levels from CEFR Pre-A1 through B2+.
• Identify learner errors, unnatural phrasing, and pedagogical gaps with expert judgment.
• Suggest improvements for clear, idiomatic, and culturally appropriate French.
• Provide structured, actionable feedback that improves AI tutoring and language-learning models.
• Collaborate asynchronously with project leads and fellow language experts.

What You'll Do

Who You Are

• Native or near-native fluency in French

• Enrolled in or completed a Bachelor's degree or higher
• Attention to detail and consistency in linguistic judgment
• No prior AI experience required
