Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking talented co-op candidates to join the IT Ops & Labs department on the Animal Health campus in Athens, GA. You will collaborate with a global team to deliver AI, data science, software engineering, APIs, IoT, BI and related state-of-the-art technologies to support operations and decision-making.

The role is on-site 2–3 days per week in Athens, GA with 4–6 month duration; candidates must be within commuting distance and eligible to work in the US.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate, graduate, or professional degree with good academic standing.
• Completed 12 credit hours within a related major and/or related coursework.
• Overall GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (no rounding).
• Major must be related to the internship field.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business partners to collect ideas for IT and process improvements.
• Propose IT-centered enhancements, technology use-cases, and/or solutions.
• Develop a pilot project with local IT team, using state-of-the-art technologies to deliver value.
• Document solution design and transfer knowledge after pilots.
• Support partners with technology-related needs.
