Job summary

Mortenson, a leading builder, developer and EPC, is offering a summer AI internship in Minnesota. As an intern you’ll work with project teams to keep work moving, solve real problems, stay organized, and communicate across teams from day one while laying the foundation for your career.

The program runs May through August 2027, with hands-on experience, opportunities to prototype AI solutions, and exposure to emerging technologies.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in IT, MIS, CS, or related field.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Demonstrate problem-solving and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building and testing AI agents and systems.
• Contribute to prompt engineering workflows and feedback loops.
• Prepare data sets for training and evaluation; experiment with models.
• Document learnings and support knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with diverse teams across the organization.
• Support other duties as assigned.
