Farmers Mutual Hail (located in West Des Moines, IA) is currently looking for a qualified undergraduate to join our 2027 Summer Internship Program.This is a paid internship starting Monday, May 17 through Friday, August 6, working up to 40 hours per week for the summer, with the potential to turn into a full-time, permanent position in the future.
We are looking for currently-enrolled college students who are close to the West Des Moines area, as this is not a remote internship.
Education: Must be a currently-enrolled sophomore, junior or senior at an undergraduate college or university, majoring in Computer Science, Data Science, MIS or related technical field. A minor or focus on AI is highly preferred.
Skills: Exposure to Python (required), familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, basic infrastructure concepts, or AI frameworks (such as LangChain, TensorFlow, PyTorch) is a plus.Exposure to AI enabled coding platforms such as Codex and IntelliJ.Familiarity with Microsoft CoPilot ecosystem of tools preferred.
