AI & Automation Engineering Intern (Paid)

$20/hour | 15-20 hours/week

About the Opportunity

Want to build software that actually gets used? Join Advanced Assembly Products as we build an AI-powered ERP and automation platform supporting manufacturing operations. This internship offers hands-on experience building production software-not classroom exercises.

You'll Work With

• AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or similar)
• Cloud-hosted applications

We're Looking For

• Students who enjoy building software and solving problems.
• Experience using AI coding tools.
• A portfolio, GitHub repository, or application demonstrating your work.
• Comfort learning independently and taking ownership.

• 3-5 sentence explanation of how AI tools were used during development.
• Please also include a portfolio link showcasing your work.
• Schedule: 15-20 hours/week (up to 30 before classes begin)
• Duration: 90 days with potential extension
• High-performing interns may be considered for future full-time opportunities.
