Job summary

DXC Technology in Arlington, VA seeks an experienced software professional to design, develop, and maintain MCP servers and related tools using Python. You will build reusable MCP components and integrate with enterprise applications, databases, and APIs while ensuring secure, role-based access and robust error handling.

The role requires strong Python skills, hands-on experience with enterprise integrations, and a focus on secure, scalable tooling.

Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship with active Secret clearance.
3+ years of hands-on software development or enterprise integration experience.
Strong Python development skills and experience with MCP or AI tool-integration capabilities.
Experience designing integrations between applications, APIs, databases, and enterprise services.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain MCP servers and supporting components using Python.
Develop MCP tools, resources, prompts, schemas, and interfaces for AI agents to interact with enterprise apps.
Build MCP capabilities exposing enterprise functions such as search, retrieval, and knowledge content.
Develop connectors and services translating MCP tool requests into secure enterprise calls.
