Job summary

Delta Air Lines, Inc. is seeking an Innovation & AI Engineering Intern to design and develop ML/AI products and own projects from day one. You will work with business stakeholders to identify problems and build robust ML solutions.

You will collaborate with engineers, strategists, and designers to create AI-powered customer experiences and present updates to leaders across units. Midtown Atlanta offices support this role.

Qualifications

• Must be actively enrolled in a Post Graduate program (M.S., MBA, or Ph.D.).
• Experience developing ML models using Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch.
• Understand ML training/serving, feature engineering, and model selection.
• Familiar with NLP, computer vision, personalization and anomaly detection.
• Willing to learn, adapt, and explain complex concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders to identify problem areas.
• Develop and modify ML models to build robust solutions.
• Collaborate with engineers, strategists, and designers to improve customer experiences with ML/AI.
• Present project updates to leaders across business units.
• Explore and apply new AI technologies to Delta's domains.
