IDC is seeking a Research Director to lead enterprise AI infrastructure research, delivering insights drawn from IDC data and external sources. You will engage with industry contacts to gather market intelligence and translate it into actionable research notes for IDC clients and prospects.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 10+ years in IT or related market research, with strong storytelling, analytical skills, and proficiency in AI tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Engineering or AI/Data Science (bonus)
• 10+ years in IT or market research related to technology enterprises
• Strong storytelling and ability to publish professional research notes

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain relationships with AI infrastructure vendors globally.
• Develop market models for AI infrastructure products and markets for projects and data products.
• Deliver insights on industry and market adoption trends.
• Collaborate across infrastructure, enterprise apps, and device analysts to build holistically grounded insights.
• Travel up to ~35% domestically with some international travel.
