Job summary

IDC Corporate is seeking a senior software engineer to help build the AI layer of IDC’s workflow. You will work with researchers, editors, and executives to design AI systems that automate the research chain while preserving critical judgment points.

You will architect content pipelines, implement autonomous agents, and integrate with publishing systems. A strong background in Python, REST APIs, and agentic AI frameworks is required to deliver measurable impact from day one.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on software engineering.
• Strong interest in agentic AI and knowledge work automation.
• Experience with AWS Strands or similar agentic frameworks in production.
• Experience building content/document processing pipelines and data transformation.

Responsibilities

• Build AI Workers using AWS Strands and autonomous agents.
• Design content pipelines to transform raw inputs into structured components.
• Automate steps in the research workflow while preserving sequencing logic.
• Create work management automations to route and track tasks.
• Own prompt design and evaluation for production AI systems.
• Integrate research tools, content repositories, and publishing systems via APIs.
• Translate analyst/editor requirements into technical specifications and ship them.
