Job summary

Boston Dynamics is seeking a Technical Program Manager to join the PMO and lead the orchestration of AI infrastructure resources. You will prioritize work across training clusters, data pipelines, and data operations to keep teams moving quickly as we scale our AI robotics strategy.

The role requires coordinating across engineering, data, and infrastructure teams, managing external vendors, and driving efficiency through proactive scheduling and roadmaps aligned with corporate goals.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in Engineering or technical field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 2 years of program management experience with multiple programs and schedules.
• Experience managing compute or infrastructure resourcing.
• Strong communication and ability to distill technical information.
• Proficient with project management tools (G Suite, Jira/Atlassian).
• Ability to articulate team priorities in line with company strategy.
• Experience coordinating across engineering and data teams to manage shared resources.

Responsibilities

• Organize, sequence, and prioritize work across training clusters, data pipelines, and data ops.
• Allocate GPU resources across concurrent model-training projects and queue critical work.
• Oversee data processing pipelines translating real-world robot experience into training data.
• Manage relationships with external data annotation and QA vendors.
• Schedule resource utilization ahead of critical events to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with AI leadership to define resourcing objectives and roadmaps.
• Identify risks to compute or data availability and develop mitigation plans.
• Engage with stakeholders to provide updates and address bottlenecks.
• Drive process improvements for resource allocation and tracking.
• Contribute to BD's internal AI tools and infrastructure programs.
