Job summary

SUSE is seeking an AI Domain Solution Architect to join our North America team. You will be a technical specialist embedded in sales, translating AI infrastructure expertise into scalable, secure production environments using SUSE AI Factory, Rancher Prime, and the NVIDIA stack.

You will lead architectural workshops, sizing sessions, and PoCs for enterprise customers, guiding multi-tenant AI deployments while collaborating with partners and customers to accelerate adoption of GPU-accelerated

Qualifications

• Presales Architecture Experience: translating deep technical expertise into effective customer solutions, proposals, presentations, demos, and RFP responses.
• Technical Communication & Leadership: simplify AI/infrastructure concepts for technical and executive audiences, coordinate cross-functional teams.
• AI Infrastructure & Accelerated Computing: design/operate GPU-accelerated infrastructure for AI training, fine-tuning, and inference workloads; understand multi-tenancy and scheduling.
• NVIDIA Ecosystem Proficiency: knowledge of NVIDIA AI Enterprise, CUDA, GPUDirect, NCCL, Run:AI, and high-performance interconnects.
• Container Management & Cloud-Native Platforms: Kubernetes architecture and cluster administration; Rancher Prime, Helm, GitOps, CNI.
• Linux Systems Expertise: strong Linux networking, storage, containers, security, and performance in production.
• SUSE Platform Knowledge: familiarity with SUSE AI Factory, SUSE Rancher Prime, SLES, NeuVector, and Observability.
• High-Performance Networking & Storage: RDMA, InfiniBand, Ethernet; distributed/object storage for AI workloads.
• Enterprise Security & Operations: secure production architectures, IAM, air-gapped environments, governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions, technical evaluations, architecture workshops, and sizing for complex AI environments.
• Translate workloads like LLM inference, fine-tuning, and RAG into scalable architectures on SUSE AI Factory and NVIDIA stack.
• Partner with Account Executives to drive technical qualification, PoCs, demos, and technical proposals.
• Guide AI architecture including security, governance, and integration requirements for enterprise environments.
• Collaborate with ecosystem partners to optimize compute, networking, storage, and platform architecture.
• Develop reusable reference architectures and enablement materials to scale AI expertise.
• Capture customer feedback and inform product direction with SUSE Product Management.
