Job summary

Prime Intellect is seeking its first dedicated security hire to own the security posture of our hosted RL training platform and multi-tenant GPU infrastructure. You will partner with engineering, research, and leadership to embed security across the stack, manage external testers, and guide risk reduction.

You will define threat models, implement secure-by-default patterns, and drive incident response, audits, and compliance initiatives for enterprise customers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in security engineering or related roles.
• Experience with multi-tenant cloud or compute infrastructure is preferred.
• Ability to read, write and audit code in Python or Rust.

Responsibilities

• Own threat modeling across the platform including multi-tenant training infra and API surfaces.
• Design zero-trust networking, identity, and access control across clusters.
• Implement secure-by-default patterns for engineers: auth, secrets, supply chain integrity.
• Architect data boundary enforcement for hosted RL workloads.
• Develop AI-security frameworks: model weight protection and data isolation.
• Lead external pentests and drive remediation with engineering teams.
• Build and lead incident response plans and post-mortems.
• Drive SOC 2 Type II readiness and other enterprise-compliance initiatives.
