Job summary

Fortinet is seeking an AI Infrastructure Engineer to build, operate, and continuously enhance Linux and GPU-based infrastructure powering AI platforms and performance testing. You will design benchmarking frameworks, ensure lab reliability and security, and develop internal AI services for demos, PoCs, and technical sales efforts.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Linux systems administration and virtualization experience.
• Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with DevOps toolchains (CI/CD, IaC, monitoring stacks).
• Strong scripting ability in Python and Bash for infra/testing workflows.
• Practical experience with GPU-based compute environments or AI/ML infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and enhance automated performance testing services that benchmark throughput, latency, scalability, and resource utilization.
• Deploy, monitor, and optimize Linux servers, GPU clusters, virtualization platforms, and lab hardware.
• Develop internal AI server applications and shared compute platforms.
• Improve operational efficiency through automation and proactive issue identification; troubleshoot complex system/network/application issues.
