Fortinet seeks a highly motivated AI Automation Engineer in Sunnyvale, CA to build and maintain the interview pipeline—from question bank to AI-assisted scoring—and to design prompts ensuring consistent outputs. You will implement validation checks, automate workflows, and monitor quality and fairness across the system.

This role requires shaping AI prompts, measuring alignment with ground truth, and correcting failures while growing the automation function to other internal processes over time.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• Strong programming fundamentals in Python/JavaScript/TypeScript or similar
• Experience with APIs, including LLM/AI APIs
• Experience designing and evaluating prompts/pipelines for LLM-based tools
• Proficient with Git and hosted platforms (GitHub/GitLab) and CI basics
• Basic understanding of databases (SQL)
• Strong attention to detail and technical writing ability
• Ability to work independently on evolving processes

Responsabilidades

• Architect and manage the assessment/repository of technical interview questions
• Create variant versions of questions to reduce sharing risk
• Build validation checks to catch incorrect or ambiguous questions
• Design scoring workflows comparing candidate answers to rubrics
• Calibrate prompts/models against human-graded samples
• Automate the end-to-end interview workflow from question selection to scoring and reporting
• Track scoring benchmarks and pipeline health
• Collaborate with engineering teams to automate internal processes
