Job summary

Google Sunnyvale is seeking a Software Engineering Manager for AI Incubation and Rapid Infrastructure Automation. You will lead a team of engineers across multiple sites, align technical direction with business goals, and drive large-scale AI and infrastructure projects.

You will mentor engineers, manage stakeholders, and design systems that scale. The role blends hands-on technical leadership with people management and strategic planning in a hyperscale environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in software development.
• 3 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.
• 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
• 2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers across multiple teams and locations.
• Set project goals, contribute to product strategy, and develop the team.
• Guide technical direction and participate in design discussions.
• Maintain strong stakeholder management and align roadmaps with partners.
• Oversee deployment of large-scale projects across multiple sites internationally.
