Job summary

DOT Compliance seeks a Tech Lead for AI Infrastructure & Security to own AI infrastructure and security across our core platform and Agentic Suite. This hands-on role guides engineering teams rather than managing people, reporting to the Agentic BU owner.

You'll lead AI infra initiatives, drive AI-native R&D transformation, and shape secure, scalable AI systems. A strong background in infra and security is essential to influence architecture decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading engineering teams or technical initiatives at the intersection of infra, tooling, and delivery.
• Hands-on experience driving AI-native R&D transformation, not just using AI tools.
• Proven track record of measurably improving R&D workflow efficiency.
• Strong depth in infrastructure and security; able to defend architecture-level calls.
• Comfortable influencing as an individual technical leader through expertise.

Responsibilities

• Own the company's AI infrastructure—model access, tooling, evaluation, cost/performance tradeoffs.
• Drive AI-native R&D transformation within day-to-day engineering workflows.
• Own AI-related security posture: data handling, access control, secure use of third-party AI services.
• Be the go-to technical authority for AI tooling adoption and agentic patterns.
• Lead a small team (2-5 engineers) building and maintaining shared AI infra and tooling.
