Job summary

Wizeline is seeking an experienced AI-focused software leader to drive the AI Impact Squad, balancing architecture, prototyping, and production rollout. You will work with engineers and business stakeholders to translate ambiguous problems into concrete AI-powered solutions.

You will mentor engineers, shape discovery, and ensure delivery aligns with measurable business outcomes while communicating clearly across technical and non-technical teams.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering production software systems.
• Hands-on with LLMs, generative AI or agentic workflows.
• Strong fundamentals: design, APIs, testing, observability, security.
• Experience with stakeholders to shape solutions.
• Ability to operate when requirements are incomplete or evolving.
• Strong product and business judgement.
• Ability to lead discovery and production delivery.
• Experience integrating AI into existing platforms and workflows.
• Knowledge of LLM evaluation, prompts, retrieval and agents.
• Know when AI is the right solution rather than default.
• Experience mentoring engineers and providing technical direction.
• Strong communication with non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable challenging assumptions in ambiguous environments.
• Outcome-driven and pragmatic, delivering working systems.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical and client-facing lead of the AI Impact Squad.
• Build trusted relationships with engineering teams and stakeholders.
• Identify problems and opportunities before full requirements are defined.
• Lead discovery to understand business processes and data systems.
• Translate problems into hypotheses, use cases and success criteria.
• Determine when AI or conventional software is appropriate.
• Provide technical direction and day-to-day support to engineers.
• Remain hands-on across architecture, prototyping, integration and rollout.
• Connect technical delivery to measurable business outcomes.
• Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences.
