Job summary

Siemens Healthineers in the United States is seeking a Research Intern – AI Fellow to build hands-on experience in medical imaging and AI development. You will perform expert image annotation, help refine models with clinicians, and contribute to dataset curation across chest X-ray, CT, and MRI tasks.

Ideal candidates are currently enrolled in a degree program outside the US or recently graduated within 12 months, and motivated to grow in a global healthcare technology company.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a degree program outside the United States or has graduated within the last 12 months.
• Experience with medical imaging or AI/ML is a plus.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform expert image annotation and structured reporting for supervised learning tasks.
• Collaborate with AI scientists, software developers, and clinical researchers to refine model performance.
• Review and validate AI-generated outputs against radiologist standards.
• Participate in dataset curation and protocol development for multimodal imaging data (CT/MRI/X-ray).
