Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in and pursuing a PhD in Computer Science or related quantitative field.
• At least three years of completed graduate work, with foundational knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, medical imaging, or statistical modeling and hands‑on experience programming in Python.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis; Lilly will not provide sponsorship for work authorization or visas.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate imaging‑based AI models that learn rich, generalizable representations from diverse clinical imaging data across modalities.
• Develop, adapt, or fine‑tune foundation models for clinical imaging and integrate representations with clinical or biomarker data.
• Collaborate with clinical, imaging, and scientific teams; stay current with advances in foundation models and clinical imaging AI; communicate results to stakeholders.
