Job summary

Mimacom is expanding its AI, data, and cloud practice in North America. We seek a senior AI Growth Engineer (Solutions Architect) who can engage with customers, shape solution strategies, build prototypes, and deliver enterprise-grade software.

You will bridge business opportunities with project delivery, combining architecture with practical engineering, while mentoring teams and guiding technology roadmaps across AWS/Azure ecosystems.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years hands-on software engineering; 8+ preferred in enterprise contexts.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management for technical and business audiences.
• Experience supporting customer workshops, solution consulting, and proposals.
• Proven ability to rapidly build prototypes and MVPs and advance to production.
• Experience deploying Generative AI including LLMs, prompt/context engineering.
• Distributed systems and microservices design on AWS and/or Azure.
• Hands-on Kafka experience in enterprise environments required.
• Desirable Elasticsearch expertise; Databricks and Snowflake a plus.
• Ability to define solution architectures and participate in enterprise architecture discussions.
• Knowledge of DataOps, CI/CD, and automated data pipelines.
• Public speaking, technical writing, or open-source contributions are assets.
• German/Spanish language skills beneficial for collaboration with Mimacom teams.

Responsibilities

• Join customer engagements from the earliest stages to define solution strategies.
• Shape proposals, architectures, delivery approaches, and estimates for opportunities.
• Build MVPs, PoCs, demos, and prototypes to show business value.
• Design enterprise AI, data, and cloud solutions from concept to production.
• Develop AI-enabled systems using Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, and context engineering.
• Design data platforms, event-driven and streaming architectures, analytics.
• Contribute code and mentor technical teams during delivery.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate development.
• Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to ensure go-live.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to stakeholders and leadership.
