Ladders is seeking an AI Governance Senior Manager to join a leader in the Aerospace & Defense sector. This role defines enterprise responsible AI strategy, governance practices, and platform capabilities to enable safe, compliant AI adoption across the organization.

You will partner with product, technology, legal, and compliance teams to translate policy into scalable features, drive change management, and mature federated governance across the company.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience with 10+ years in governance or product roles.
• 8+ years leading cross-functional initiatives in product, data governance, or AI governance.
• 5+ years with data platforms or enterprise AI capabilities.
• 5+ years in AI/ML lifecycle governance and risk assessments.
• Experience translating legal and regulatory requirements into actionable product features.
• 5+ years in Agile delivery and backlog management.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a AI Governance Sr Manager to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space.

This role will shape the enterprise approach to responsible AI by defining strategy, governance practices, and the capabilities needed to support safe and compliant AI adoption. You will partner closely with product, technology, legal, compliance, and business stakeholders to translate policy and regulatory needs into scalable platform features and operating processes. The position will also drive discovery, change management, and cross-functional delivery to mature AI governance across the organization.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $132,400 – $251,600 annually

• 8+ years in product management, data governance, or AI/ML governance leading cross-functional initiatives
• 5+ years with data platforms, governance tools, or enterprise AI capabilities
• 5+ years in AI/ML model lifecycle management with governance and risk assessments
• Experience translating legal and regulatory requirements into actionable product features
• 5+ years in Agile delivery and backlog management
