Job summary

KellyMitchell Group is seeking a Project Leader III to support its AI Risk Governance team within Enterprise Risk Management in New York City. This hands-on role blends program coordination with ownership of governance deliverables, partnering with leadership and cross-functional teams to scale AI governance processes.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in governance, risk, or compliance, experience in financial services or regulated industries, and strong executive communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of governance, risk, compliance, or related functions.
• Experience in financial services, insurance, or regulated industries.
• Strong project coordination and program execution capabilities.
• Ability to own and deliver work products independently.
• Excellent written communication for executive-facing materials.
• Working knowledge of AI governance concepts and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Support AI governance review processes and lifecycle workflows.
• Coordinate governance meetings including agendas and briefing documents.
• Serve as liaison across governance functions to facilitate communication and execution.
• Track action items, escalations, milestones, and commitments.
• Prepare status updates and executive-level materials for leadership and committees.
• Maintain governance documentation (policies, procedures, standards, templates).
• Develop and manage project plans and drive roadmap deliverables to completion.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders on governance initiatives.
• Draft governance communications and training materials.
• Support continuous improvement of the AI governance program.
