Job summary

OpenAI is hiring a Technical Field Trainer to deliver hybrid, instructor-led bootcamps and workshops for engineers, architects, and executives across multiple U.S. metros.

You will guide participants through AI developer workflows, including APIs, SDKs, and prompt engineering, while troubleshooting live sessions and maintaining high delivery quality. You’ll collaborate with regional stakeholders and program leadership to continuously improve outcomes, representing OpenAI’s brand with credibility

Qualifications

• Background in technical training, developer education, or related field.
• Experience delivering workshops or bootcamps to professional audiences.
• Working knowledge of large language models and prompt engineering.
• Familiarity with APIs, SDKs, and developer tools on at least one major cloud platform.
• Excellent facilitation and communication skills with engineers and business leaders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led bootcamps, workshops, and live labs to diverse audiences.
• Guide participants through AI developer workflows with labs and sample code.
• Troubleshoot issues in real time during live sessions.
• Translate AI concepts into business-relevant explanations.
• Represent OpenAI's technical brand with credibility at partner organizations.
• Maintain high delivery quality across regions and audiences.
• Collaborate with leadership to improve training outcomes.
