At StackedHR (https://stackedhr.ai), we’re reinventing how the hiring process works. StackedHR gets rid of the resume screen and the old-fashioned reliance on years of work experience as a proxy for skill. We've built a mix of AI review with peer-evaluation to modernize the hiring flow and make it so that the candidates that can do the job best are the ones that get hired.

This position is for a full-stack engineer with AI chops that will be working on building the core product. This is a perfect role for you if you're obsessed with tinkering and building things no one else thought possible.

The Role Responsibilities:

• Work alongside our senior engineers to develop the StackedHR codebase learning and leveraging full-stack best practices to continue creating a product people love to use.
• Learn cutting-edge technical skills and tools that will help land both the next job and the one after.
• Take ownership of core product features from just your idea to something being used by our partners in production.
• Work closely with external stakeholders to understand their core needs and build with them in mind.

What You'll Need:

The Non-Negotiable

• Experience in Javascript/Typescript, React, and familiarity with the broader web-dev ecosystem.
• The drive and desire to excel and to know that what you did made a difference.
• Strong curiosity and a core belief that no problem is unsolvable with a willingness to learn.
• Autonomy and Ambition. Even if you didn’t work for us, you’d be making an impact somewhere (company or no company).

Nice to Have Experience

• Typescript-based tooling such as Drizzle, Bun, and modern web-dev best practices
• AI Native and confident using MCPs and being part of an AI first ecosystem
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to prioritize between competing ideas.

StackedHR is early stage, and we know this may scare you off. Not many people have the risk tolerance to try a novel approach in a historically safe industry. This means working here is high ownership and high impact - you’ll be actively involved in building and shaping key aspects of StackedHR and you will change the company.
